Shah Rukh Khan planning Don 2
Mumbai, Aug. 26(ANI): Shah Rukh Khan does not give up easily. After the mixed response to his Don, King Khan is all set to make a sequel to the film. The film will be produced by his production company "Red Chillies" in association with Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani's "Excel Entertainment". Farhan will also direct the film, which will have an all-new star cast and will hit theatres around the country late next year.

Fashion wear for pregnant women
New Delhi, Aug. 26(ANI): Several mothers-to-be walked the ramp in the national capital to unveil dresses for pregnant women crafted by top apparel designers. Three designers under the sponsorship of a company called “9 Months” designed comfortable but stylized clothes for pregnant women, which were showcased in a special fashion show. The objective is to provide mothers-to-be with brighter and stylish clothing that makes them look glamorous and sexy.

India world no. 2 in fatal road accidents
New Delhi, Aug. 26(ANI): Indian roads are not the safest places to be, as India has the distinction of registering the highest number of road-accident fatalities, second only to China. According to reports in 2004 as many as 92,618 people lost their lives in road accidents in India as compared to 1,07,077 people killed in China in the same year. India has a far higher rate of road casualties than several countries, including US, Japan, Canada, Australia and Germany.

Hyderabad blasts kill 41
Hyderabad, Aug. 26(ANI): Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy said the twin bomb blasts in Hyderabad on Saturday were definitely an act of terrorism which the government was determined to deal with firmly. In a major terror strike, 41 people were killed and at least 65 injured in two powerful blasts within a brief gap at a Gokul Chat Shop in Kothi and at an auditorium in Lumbini Amusement Park near the state secretariat on Saturday.

Tata interested in Jaguar, Land Rover
New Delhi, Aug. 26(ANI): The chairman of Tata Group, Ratan Tata has confirmed that he is interested in acquiring Jaguar and Land Rover from their parent, Ford. Speaking on TV, Chairman Ratan Tata said his interest was a result of the need to expand Tata Motors' worldwide reach. The Indian market currently accounts for more than 90 per cent of Tata Motors' sales.

Bips says won't use her name for film character
Mumbai, Aug. 26(ANI): Bipasha Basu has signed her first ever art-house movie called "Pankh". Apparently she will play herself in the film but refuses to use her real name for her character. She is apprehensive because she fears it will create confusion. Bips says she’s not at all comfortable with her name being used for any character, even if she’s playing herself. Flintoff in doubt for next ODI
London, Aug. 26(ANI): England’s allrounder Andrew Flintoff is in doubt for third one-day match against India on Monday with a knee injury. Flintoff received a cortisone injection in his right knee after a scan showed mild inflammation following the second one-day international against India at Bristol. He crashed into an advertising board during India's innings attempting to stop a boundary and appeared in pain.

Pakistan tests new cruise missile
Unknown Location, Aug. 26 (ANI): Pakistan on Saturday successfully tested a new air-launched cruise missile capable of carrying nuclear weapons. The missile, named Hatf-8 (Ra'ad), has a range of 350 kms (220 miles) and can carry all types of warheads, the military said in a statement. The military said the missile would give its aircraft "a strategic stand-off capability on land and at sea".
