Market your talent
Usha Albuquerque
The most attractive dress and the fanciest gadget is valueless until a customer knows about it and understands its use. Sales and marketing does just that. By assessing people’s needs and then fulfilling them, it brings a product and consumer together. So, whether it is salwar-suits or software, mangoes or microwaves, housing loans or holiday plans, effective sales and marketing is vital to the success of any commercial venture.

Recruitment outsourcing new kid on the block
A number of corporate giants are adopting the RPO model for their hiring needs inside and outside India

If it is smooth and sweet, you win the nod. Voice, as a part of a polished personality, is often overlooked, especially by girls. Mostly, they prefer to chew gum, than the cud! “She was highly impressive until she opened her mouth”, is often the final verdict.

Dealing with
Desk Rage
Patricia Kitchen

The workplace is quite the breeding ground for an assortment of irritating behaviors, further augmented these days by colleagues unschooled in cell phone and text messaging etiquette, all leading to an increase in what Zachary Meyer refers to as 'desk rage."
