Bus burnt at Hansi
Tribune News Service

Hisar, August 30
A mob today torched a Haryana Roadways bus at Hansi, a subdivisional town near here in protest against the killing of a Dalit youth in Gohana earlier this week.

The mob collected early in the morning and set fire to a bus. The police arrived on the scene and dispersed the mob. The fire brigade put out the fire with the help of roadways employees.

Bus services and traffic on the Delhi Road were temporarily affected. However, the police cleared the road and normalcy was restored.

Traffic was also blocked here for about two hours when hundreds of protesters staged a demonstration at Fountain Chowk this morning. The crowd left after handing over a memorandum to the SDM. Thereafter, traffic movement was restored.
