Rainfall: Rain/thundershowers have occurred at isolated places in Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab, Rajasthan and east Uttar Pradesh. Weather was dry in the rest of the region. The chief amounts of rainfall in cm are: Punjab: Ludhiana 3, East Rajasthan: Dataramgarh 5, Kota and Mazamabad 4 each, Jaipur 3, Bansar, Phulera, Rajgarh, Sanganer and Uniwara 2 each and Bassi, Behror, Chaksu, Chomu, Jamwaramgarh, Kekri, Lalsot, Malpura, Parvatsar,Talabshahi and Thanagazi 1 each, West Rajasthan: Bikaner 2 and Pungal 1 and East Uttar Pradesh: Dalmau 1. Forecast valid until the morning of 18th September
