A visit to this town by road from Ludhiana, Payal, Malerkotla, Mullanpur, Sandaur and Raekote revealed that none of the roads is in ideal condition for motoring. Condition of all six approach roads - the Jandali road, Pohir road, Dhulkote road, Chhapar road, Dehliz road and the Jagera road - is in bad shape.

Front helps victims of fraud

The Anti-Corruption Front president Rashpal Singh, while talking to the Ludhiana Tribune here yesterday, said the front had received complaints from Jasvir Kaur of Ramgarh Mand and Devinder Kaur of Punia about the fraud having been committed with them by Satnam Singh of Makrauna Kalan, who had taken Rs 2,38,000, along with passport of her husband Satnam Singh, for sending him to foreign country.
