No ‘threat’ to Ramdev's yoga camp Kathmandu, September 22 “Such baseless, misleading propaganda is a conspiracy of the regressive forces against the people’s desire for republic and peace,” its spokesperson Krishna Bahadur Mahara said in a statement today. The camp slated to be held at Tundikhel open ground here from 5am this morning was postponed by a day. Earlier a media report said the camp was postponed due to threats from the Maoists. The police too cited “security woes” behind the cancellation of the day’s programme. Thousands of followers of yoga Guru Swami Ramdev were disappointed and returned back home after receiving a last-minute confirmation about postponement of the camp. — PTI |
