Fresher pushed from 3rd floor in Agra

Agra, October 3
A fresher of an engineering college here was seriously injured when his seniors allegedly pushed him from the third floor of the institute building, family members said.

Abdul Wahab, a student of Anand Engineering College, has been admitted to a private hospital with a multiple fracture on Monday night.

Victim’s father Inam Ali alleged that five to six senior had accosted Wahab when he was studying at his room on that night and snatched his money from pocket.

When Wahab threatened to report the matter to the principal, the senior allegedly pushed him from the third floor of the institute building.

Ever since he has been admitted to the hospital, Wahab often lost consciousness and was not in a position to narrate the incident properly, Ali claimed.

However, no complaint has been lodged with the police so far.

Doctors attending on him said Wahab had fracture in his legs, backbone and also injuries to head. But his condition was stable. Wahab hails from Meerut in Western Uttar Pradesh. — PTI
