Temperature:
The maximum temperatures changed little.They were appreciably above normal in Rajasthan, above normal in Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir and Uttarakhand and normal in the rest of the region. The highest temperature in the region was 38.8C, recorded at Barmer (Rajasthan). The minimum temperatures fell in west Rajasthan and changed little elsewhere. They were below normal in Jammu and Kashmir and Punjab and normal in the rest of the region. The lowest temperature in the plains was 13.7C recorded at Narnaul (Haryana).
Forecast valid until the morning of October 5: Weather will be mainly dry over the region.

Isolated rain/thundershowers are likely in east Uttar Pradesh. No large change in the rest of the region.
Forecast for Delhi and neighbourhood valid until the morning of October 5: Mainly clear sky. The maximum and minimum temperatures will be around 35C and 20C,respectively.
