Rainfall: Rain/thundershowers have occurred at isolated places in Himachal Pradesh, east Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand. Weather was dry in the rest of the region. The chief amounts of rainfall in cm are: Himahal Pradesh: Rampurbushahar 1, East Uttar Pradesh: Fursatganj 5, Varanasi City. 4, Raebareilly 3 and Ballia 1.
Temperature:
The maximum temperatures fell in Himachal Pradesh and change little elsewhere. They were above normal in Haryana, east Rajasthan and Uttarakhand and normal in the rest of the region. The highest temperature in the region was 37.3°C recorded at Barmer (Rajasthan).
The minimum temperatures changed little. They were appreciably below normal in Jammu and Kashmir, below normal in Haryana and Punjab, above normal in Uttar Pradesh and normal in the rest of the region. The lowest temperature in the plains was 13.8°C recorded at Adampur (Punjab).
