Trinamool Congress chief Mamata Banerjee has alleged that she has been a victim of telephone tapping. She accused the CPM of involving in the bugging and sought the Prime Minister’s help in this regard.
She circulated copies of the letter to mediapersons that she sent to the Prime Minister yesterday.
Banerjee alleged that during the past few months she had been facing difficulty in making and receiving calls from her landline and cell phones.
She said she had specific information that at the instance of the home department, cops in the special branch of the Lord Sinha road office had been engaged in tapping her phones.
