Cricket is a game of name and fame
But its tricks are not easy to tame
You are bound to give the opponent shock
With powerful hits & overhead shots
Histories get created
Which are again & again repeated
Umpires are the judges
Teams lose with many grudges.
Winners are welcomed
But losers should not anyone blame
As my dear, it’s a mere game.

Dear teacher
Light of our life
What is in your name
That when I utter it
I always heave a sigh of relief
Why when I think of you
Anxiety seems to leave me
You are the water that seeps deep into the roots of us little plants
And nurture with your love
You are the light of your students
Light of knowledge that is what
I will say you are
You, none else, always will
be for me an epitome
Why do I always seem to say to myself
I must be like you
Why do I always feel your presence
As if you are sitting beside me
And in the end I myself answer these questions
And I say to myself
because oh! teacher you love me
