The Tribune to launch Edition from Bathinda on Sunday IN its long history spanning about 127 years, The Tribune has been the Voice of the People. To serve them better, we have been opening new editions closer to their homes. We are already publishing editions from Chandigarh, New Delhi and Jalandhar, besides those for Haryana and Himachal Pradesh. Taking another step forward, we are now launching The Tribune’s Bathinda Edition on Sunday. The new Edition will bring the latest news to the people of the entire southern Punjab, which has made a lot of contribution to the State’s economy by the hard work of its farmers and is now poised to take major strides by becoming home to agro-industries and a massive oil refinery. Bathinda is also the seat of one of the largest army cantonments, and a bulwark in the nation’s defence effort. Like the rest of the newspaper, the Bathinda Edition will also have news about major national and international developments, particularly about South Asia. It will also carry articles and columns by eminent commentators who regularly write for The Tribune.
