‘Dheeyan Maaro Na’ hits silver screen
Chandigarh, November 4 Dr Gurmail Chahal, maker, writer and creator of the concept, works in Nawashahr these days. For society at large, the film’s subject assumes greater significance in the aftermath of the Patran tragedy. For Chahal, it has always been significant. “I was eager to create awareness material for people in the villages where the problem needs to be tackled on a war footing. The film is in Punjabi and will easily express itself to rural masses. I have prepared 1000 copies to begin with and will distribute them free of cost,” says Chahal. |
