They were appreciably above normal in Jammu and Kashmir, above normal in Himachal Pradesh, east Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh and normal in the rest of the region. The lowest minimum temperature in the plains was 9.5°C recorded at Narnaul (Haryana).
