Rainfall: Weather was dry over the region.

Temperature: The minimum temperatures rose appreciably in Jammu and Kashmir, rose in Himachal Pradesh and east Rajasthan and changed little elsewhere. They were appreciably above normal in Jammu and Kashmir, above normal in Himachal Pradesh, east Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh and normal in the rest of the region. The lowest minimum temperature in the plains was 9.5C recorded at Narnaul (Haryana).

Forecast valid until the morning of November 6: Rain/snow is likely at isolated places in Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir and Uttranchal. Weather will be mainly dry in the rest of the region.

Outlook for the subsequent two days: Weather will be mainly dry.

Forecast for Delhi and neighbourhood valid until the morning of November 6: Mist/haze in the morning. Mainly clear sky. The minimum temperature will be around 13C.
