Lalu refuses queries on wagons
Tribune News Service

New Delhi, November 30
Despite Lok Sabha Speaker Somnath Chatterjee’s expectation of an adequate response from the government, railway minister Lalu Prasad Yadav today declined to respond to the queries of BJD members about the missing two ammunition packed rail wagons for the last two months in the Lok Sabha.

Expressing alarm over the missing ammunition from an ordnance train from Jodhpur during the zero hour, BJD member Braj Kishore Tripathi said it was a serious matter but neither the Defence nor the railway ministries were perturbed over it.

His party colleague Bhartruhari Mahtab disclosed that a fax message of the Army on November 17 confirmed the receipt of 22 wagons of ammunition as against 24 wagons sent.
