7-yr RI for killing wife
Ludhiana, December 7
Additional sessions judge Gurbir Singh has sentenced Jagjit Singh of Khurshaidpur village, Sidhwan Bet, to seven-year rigorous imprisonment on charges of killing his wife. A fine of Rs 2,000 has also been imposed on him.

The life size statue, which gives an
illusion of a “real Badal”, took this artist nearly 4 months
to complete.
