Kolkata, December 8
After maintaining her silence for over 68 days since her husband Rizwanur Rahman’s mysterious death, Priyanka Todi at long broke her silence and tried to protect her father, Ashoke Todi and the uncle, Pradip, the two prime accused in the Rizwanur’s death case.

In an interview, Priyanka put the blame on Rizwanur’s elder brother, Rukhbanur and their family friend Pappu for Rizwanur’s death.

She also made it clear she would not return back to her in-law’s family at the Tiljala Road residence where she spent over a week with her husband after their marriage.

It had been alleged that the interview had been planned and designed for protecting businessman Ashoke Todi and his brother, Pradip.

Priyanka’s ‘exclusive’ interview was carried in two newspapers only a few days before the submission of the inquiry report by the CBI to the Calcutta High Court which on November 16 had ordered the probe.

PTI adds: Priyanka Todi claimed that Rizwan's elder brother had tried to force him to sign divorce papers.
