Bomb found near Doraha canal

The Doraha police has recovered a bomb from Jarnaili Road near Bajwa Colony. The bomb was spotted lying near the road by some passersby who immediately informed the police.

Four persons, including a woman, who sustained injuries in the train-mini bus accident that took place near Chuhar Chak village in Moga district today morning, were brought to the Dayanand Medical College and Hospital here. Two of the victims were stated to be in a critical condition. They would be operated upon due to serious head injuries.

Bank employees donate 50 units of blood

A voluntary blood donation camp was organised at HDFC Bank at the Mall Road here today in collaboration with Dayanand Medical College and Hospital (DMCH). A team of doctors from the department of transfusion medicine of the hospital, under the leadership of Dr Amarjit Kaur, head, department of transfusion medicine at DMCH, conducted the camp where 50 units of blood were collected.
