Temperature: The minimum temperature appreciably rose in east Rajasthan, rose in west Uttar Pradesh, fell in Punjab and changed little elsewhere. They were markedly above normal in Rajasthan, appreciably above normal in Himachal Pradesh and west Uttar Pradesh, below normal in Punjab and normal in the rest of the region. The lowest minimum temperature in the plains was 2.2°C recorded at Amritsar (Punjab).
