Temperature: The minimum temperatures appreciably fell in Rajasthan, fell in Haryana and west Uttar Pradesh and changed little elsewhere. They were appreciably above normal in east Rajasthan, above normal in west Uttar Pradesh, below normal in Jammu and Kashmir and Punjab and normal in the rest of the region. The lowest minimum temperature in plains was 2.8° C recorded at Amritsar.
