Rainfall: Weather was dry over the region.

Temperature: Temperature fell in Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand and changed little elsewhere. It was appreciably below normal in Haryana, Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab and east Uttar Pradesh, below normal in west Rajasthan and west Uttar Pradesh and normal in the rest of the region. The lowest minimum temperature in the plains was 1.2 °C recorded at Adampur (Punjab).

Forecast valid until the morning of January 1: Weather will be mainly dry over the region.

Low temperature warning: Ground frost is likely at a few places in Haryana, Punjab, north Rajasthan and north-west Uttar Pradesh during the next two nights.

Outlook for the subsequent two days: Generally dry weather likely to continue over the region.

Forecast for Delhi and neighbourhood valid until the morning of January 1: Mainly clear sky. Mist in the morning. The minimum temperature will be around 03°C.
