CRR up by 25 basis points,
key rates stay

The Reserve Bank of India today announced a hike in the Cash Reserve Ratio (CRR) of banks by another 25 basis points. The new CRR, which comes into effect from May 24, will amount to 8.25 per cent.
Govt revises duties on steel, cement
