today extended the police custody of the disgraced former
chairman B Ramalinga Raju and former chief financial officer V
Srinivas by a day to facilitate further questioning.

wonder with the state remaining powerless for several hours
during the day. Things were back to “normal” this morning
with the PSEB reverting to its load-shedding schedule with
people raising a hue and cry.

Pakistan Prime Minister
Yousuf Raza Gilani today wished Prime Minister Manmohan Singh
good health by sending him a bouquet and a get-well message. The
PM was, meanwhile, discharged from AIIMS early in the morning
and was back at work from his 7, Race Course residence office.
