Underage driver injures two, booked
Ludhiana, March 26
Two persons, including a child, were injured after being hit by a speeding car being driven by a school student near BRS Nagar here this morning.
Angry residents chased the vehicle and managed to nab the boy near I-block of BRS
Nagar. They beat up the boy and also damaged the vehicle.
The car driven by a Class XII student that was badly damaged by a mob lying at Sarabha Nagar police station on Thursday.

1,000 examined at health camp

As many as 1,000 patients were examined during a medical and dental camp organised by the CMCH in association with Abhishek Industries Ltd at Raikot road in Barnala district.

Special counters for filing tax returns

With the last date for filing income tax returns just round the corner and queues of tax payers growing longer with each passing day, the Income Tax department has decided to set up special counters on the premises of the department.
The counters will be set up on March 28 and 29 from 10.30 am to 4.30 pm and on March 30 from 9.30 am to 4 pm. A counter will also be set up on the last day of filing income tax returns on March 31 from 9.30 am to 8 pm.
