Rahul says PM is ‘Sher-e-Punjab’
Tribune News Service

Talwandi Sabo ( Bathinda), April 14
Criticising the BJP for describing Prime Minister Manmohan Singh as a weak PM, Congress general secretary Rahul Gandhi today described the PM as “ Sher-e-Punjab” (Lion of Punjab) and the “pride of India”. He was addressing an election meeting in support of Congress candidate Raninder Singh.

Criticising Advani , Rahul said while Manmohan Singh took a stand against terrorism, BJP’s prime ministerial candidate gave in to the demands of terrorists during Kandahar hijacking incident. “Advani is not speaking the truth”, he added while dismissing the BJP leader’s claim that he was not aware of release of terrorists when the hijacking took place.
