Rhyme Time

Right to live

I was leading a normal life

Until all got upturned

Thanks to a medical report

Life got sore, sore and sore

Friends disappeared in the puff of dust

My job was snatched

Made an untouchable or worse

Is being HIV + a criminal offence?

Soon hospital bed will be my new world

Doomsday will befall

I want to live the little life to the fullest

Let me breathe freely

Let me enjoy rain droplets

Who are you to blot me?

Can’t live in suffocation now

Dare and...

Stab me! Stab me! Stab me

Thousands like me are squalling

Where’s your humanity?

HIV + persons are much like us

Awake your mind otherwise

Next generations will repent to have our blood

E-age continues to invoke

Have HIV + patients no Right to Live

Death of winter

Howling frigid north winds cease

Long cold nights come to an end

Sparkling blanket melts away

Feels like losing an old friend

Erased snowy wonderland

Frost gone from my windowpane

Stark branches reach for the sky

Eagerly waiting spring rain

Blocking warmth of the sun

Time to pull closed the shades

Grieving my winters death

As life for me now fades
