Meira
Kumar set to script history
New
Delhi, May 31
Meira Kumar knows how to
keep her silence as she did today as the news spread of her
near-confirmed appointment as new Speaker of the 15th Lok Sabha.
Emerging from 10 Janpath, where she reportedly had a positive
meeting on the subject with UPA Chairperson Sonia Gandhi today,

former Railway Minister had allowed so many stoppages of important
trains in his home state that people generally referred them as “Lalu
halt”.

Chandigarh, May 31
Frequent upward revision of toll
