Mohali, June 14
A reel life story is unfolding in the real life of lovelorn couple, Chand Mohammed (Chander Mohan) and Fiza (Anuradha Bali).

After months of war of words through the media, the former Haryana Deputy Chief Minister was back with Fiza, surprising many. Taking a U-turn, the Kalka MLA reached Fiza’s Sector 48 house here and apologised to her before the media. Fiza’s mother bartered peace between the couple when he came knocking at her door this morning.

Though Fiza looked happy over the turn of events, as she might have desired, the MLA seemed uncomfortable facing pointed queries of mediapersons. Breaking his silence, he said, “I have apologised to her. I have not divorced her. Whatever else I said earlier was under pressure.”

But his ladylove did not accept his apology. “I still do not believe him. I will think over his apology,” she said. She made it clear that she had not made up her mind on forgiving him so far.

Cops posted outside Fiza’s house attacked

Over 30 persons attacked two cops posted outside Fiza alias Anuradha Bali’s house at Sector 48 in Mohali on Sunday night. Sources said the accused first brutally thrashed constable Ram Swaroop and then attacked the other cop, who opened fire in self-defence, resulting in an injury to one of the attackers, who has been identified as Ashok. He has been hospitalised. The identity of other assailants could not be established. Notably, Fiza had asked for police security alleging threat to her life. A case has been registered against three persons and a Bolero jeep has been impounded, said SSP JS Aulakh

Fiza is scheduled to leave for Malaysia to participate in a reality show in the next few days. On being asked on withdrawing criminal complaints against him, she said she was yet to make up her mind. “I will think about living with him again. He had been misled by others,” said Fiza.

Sitting alongside Fiza, Chand said, “I have come to live with her. I do not want go back to Seema.” Fiza said, “My claim of his family sabotaging our married life has been vindicated by his return and his statement that whatever he said or did after returning from London was under duress.”

While tendering apology, he had also requested her not to pursue legal cases against his family members, Fiza said.

After staying together for around 40 days, Chand had suddenly left Fiza’s house. He was later spotted in London. He divorced her on the phone and through SMS in February.
