What a fearful day, the exam isMore fearful is to wait is.
Books and books in our mind
Sleep and rest we can’t find
Teachers and Principal scold us
Parents blindly trust us
To whom shall we speak to
No time even to buckle a shoe
No time to play no time to dream
We are in a bookland it seem
They say books are your best friends
Rightly, as we have to read it seven days every weekend
Mathematics to solve, chemistry to cram
We just want to be back in our pram
An apple a day keeps the doctor away
Even an hour’s sleep keeps our aim away
Pen and paper are our daily meal
Studies and childhood a bad deal
Shall we ever get time to enjoy
Or will we become a book boy
If we ignore our exams we will be right at the back
So, let us bind the ignorance in a sack
We’ll be at the top then
Still, there will be no time to even count a ten
Till then, let’s hope and pray to Pope that decrease our burden
Before we are caught and wrapped in study’s rope
