The UPA Government today suffered a third blow in less than two weeks when it failed to buy peace with the Opposition hell bent upon stalling the Parliament until their demand for a Joint Parliamentary Committee (JPC) probe into the multi-crore 2G Spectrum scam was met. Obstinacy on both sides intact, the Parliament impasse entered the 14th day and would continue longer with Parliamentary Affairs Minister Pawan Bansal ruling out sine die adjournment.

Realty firm Impact Senior Living Estates today announced a housing project in Amritsar that, the company claims, would go beyond the mere erection of infrastructure by making healthcare, hospitality, financial planning and security an integral part of the residential package.
