a housing project for elderly in Amritsar
Chandigarh, November 30
Realty firm Impact Senior Living
Estates today announced a housing project in Amritsar that, the company
claims, would go beyond the mere erection of infrastructure by making
healthcare, hospitality, financial planning and security an integral
part of the residential package. Spread over 50 acres of land, one
portion of the project (on five acres) would exclusively house senior
citizens.

DRDO
develops super explosive
Claims ICL-20 is most powerful
in non-nuclear category
New Delhi, November 30
The Defence Research and
Development Organisation today claimed to have developed the most
powerful non-nuclear explosive. Scientists at the DRDO’s Pune-based
High Energy Materials Research Laboratory (HEMRL) have synthesised
adequate quantity of CL-20 in the laboratory. “It is the most powerful
non-nuclear explosive known so far,” a Defence ministry spokesperson
said quoting Dr AK Sikder, the Joint Director of HEMRL.
