Excellence award for Haryana bank

New Delhi, December 8
President Pranab Mukherjee today gave away National Cooperative Development Corporation awards for cooperative excellence to 27 agricultural cooperatives (24 state-level and three national-level) from different states, including one from Haryana — the Silani Primary Agriculture Cooperative of Central Cooperative Bank in Jhajjar.

The Silani Primary Agriculture Cooperative received a trophy, excellence certificate and a cash prize of Rs 50,000. Ajay Ahlawat, chairman of the bank, received the award.
