Guru Jambheshwar varsity gets A grade

HISAR: Guru Jambheshwar University of Science and Technology (GJUST), Hisar, has been awarded ‘A’ grade by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), an autonomous accreditation agency funded by the UGC, third time in a row.

Guru Jambheshwar University of Science and Technology (GJUST), Hisar, has been awarded ‘A’ grade by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), an autonomous accreditation agency funded by the UGC, third time in a row.

An NAAC team visited the university (December 3-6) and evaluated its infrastructure, research, teaching, sports and cultural facilities etc. Based on its assessment of the facilities as per its parameters, the council this year awarded a higher cumulative grade point average (CGPA) to the varsity, said Prof Karam Pal Narwal, director of the internal quality assurance cell of the varsity during the NAAC visit. — TNS
