Karnal cops to deliver FIR at complainant’s doorstep

KARNAL: Hanif Kureshi, IGP, Karnal range, ordered all four SPs in the range to start the “FIR at the complainant’s doorstep scheme”.

Hanif Kureshi, IGP, Karnal range, ordered all four SPs in the range to start the “FIR at the complainant’s doorstep scheme”. The IGP said for the convenience of the public the authorities decided to start this scheme under which the copy of an FIR would be delivered at the complaint’s doorstep. If the complainant has an e-mail id, the FIR would be sent there else the copy would be delivered by the beat in-charge.
