BJP holds protests against killing of RSS leader

AMRITSAR: The local unit of the BJP staged a protest against the killing of RSS leader Ravinder Gosain here today.

The local unit of the BJP staged a protest against the killing of RSS leader Ravinder Gosain here today. BJP workers also submitted a memorandum in this regard to the Deputy Commissioner. They demanded from the government to identify the culprits.

Rajya Sabha MP Shwait Malik also attended the protest. He said it was a cowardice act. The MP added that the BJP workers stand united with the family of Ravinder Gosain and share their grief. Malik said last year, RSS leader Jagdish Gagneja was gunned down in Jalandhar. The government had also failed to identify the murders of Mata Chand Kaur, the mother of Namdhari Guru, the MP added.

Malik said Hindu leader Amit Sharma and pastor Sultan Masih too were gunned down in Ludhiana.The MP added that such incidents had come to light in the past two years. — TNS
