Body found beneath flyover

The Vallah police found the body of an unidentified person from beneath the Vallah flyover here last evening. The police have initiated action under the criminal procedure code.

Madan Singh, in-charge, Vallah police chowki, said the police found nothing from the clothes of the deceased, which could reveal his identification.

It seems that he had fallen in the fields while urinating last evening, he said. So far no injury marks were there on the body.

The body has been sent for post-mortem and the exact cause of death would be ascertained only after the report is out.
