Members of the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP), Ambedkar, took out a motorcycle rally to protest against unemployment, contractual system of employment, corruption and atrocities on the poor people.
The BSP workers went to offices of the Police Commissioner, Deputy Commissioner, Municipal Corporation and other departments during the rally. The rallyists raised anti-government slogans. They said the government had failed to deliver on the promise of upliftment of the poor people in the state.
Bahujan Samaj Party (Ambedkar) leader Kawaljit Singh Sahota said these rallies would be organised each month to wake up the government. He said the government had also failed to check the inflow of drugs, which has ruined hundreds of families.
