Accused’s family writes to DGP

Meanwhile, the family of Devinder Sandhu, one of the suspects in the case, on Thursday wrote to the DGP and cyber cell seeking a probe into the air ticket that surfaced on social media.

Meanwhile, Dilraj Sandhu, wife of Davinder Sandhu, on Thursday said, “Our opponents are paying dirty tricks to oppose my husband’s bail. He is cooperating with investigation agencies and he has no plans to go to any other country. All this is being done to defame us.”

She urged the DGP to probe into the ‘fraudulent’ booking of the air ticket in the name of his husband. She demanded registration of an FIR against the fraudsters.

Dilraj Sandhu added that Make My Trip officials were also being contacted to know the source of the booking and mode of payment to find out the actual person who made the booking.
