Play laced with humour staged

Bhavan's Kala Kendra presented a play full of comedy and emotions, titled “Chandan De Ohle” by Young Malang Theatre Group. The play is written by Pali Bhupinder and directed by Sajan Kapoor. Dr Ashok Uppal, a renowned neurologist, graced the occasion as the chief guest. The play focused on the challenges youngsters have to face while struggling to achieve their dreams. Some face exploitation and others are oppressed, but the satire depicted this grim situation in a light manner, laced with humour for impact. This play has been earlier staged in several schools and institutions while Young Malangs’ summer theatre workshop also concluded with this play.  Ashok Sethi, Co-ordinator, Bhavan's Kala Kendra, extended the formal welcome to the chief guest and to the audience.
