City dentists awarded fellowship

AMRITSAR: Dr Ramandeep Singh Bhullar and Dr Nitin Verma were awarded the fellowship of the International College of Dentists (ICD) during an event held in New Delhi on December 10.

Amritsar, December 12

Dr Ramandeep Singh Bhullar and Dr Nitin Verma were awarded the fellowship of the International College of Dentists (ICD) during an event held in New Delhi on December 10.

Dr Ramandeep Singh Bhullar is the Dean Academics of SGRD Dental College, Amritsar, while Dr Nitin Verma is an assistant professor at Government Dental College here.

The ICD had given fellowships to 51 eminent dentists from across India. Notably, Dr Bhullar and Dr Verma were the only dentists from Punjab this year who received the honour.

The ICD is an international body of dentists from 122 countries with its headquarters in Michigan, USA, which recognises the fellows for their outstanding professional achievement, meritorious service and dedication to the continued progress of dentistry for the benefit of humankind.
