Counselling for B Tech seats at GND varsity

AMRITSAR: For getting admission to B Tech courses based on the JEE Main-2018 score, the centralised counselling will be conducted at GNDU main campus.

For getting admission to B Tech courses based on the JEE Main-2018 score, the centralised counselling will be conducted at GNDU main campus. Dr Kamaljit Singh, Dean, Academic Affairs, GNDU, said, “The last date for receipt of application is June 13 and counselling schedule has been uploaded on the university website.

For other B Tech courses, the university will conduct its own entrance test. 10% seats are added to the normal quota of seats for B Tech courses admission through lateral entry mode.

The university’s online admission process started on March 30 for admissions to various courses on its main campus, regional campuses and university colleges for the academic session 2018-19. Several skill-based job oriented new courses have been introduced this year.

“Admission to MBA (two years) courses at GNDU main campus, regional campuses at Gurdaspur, Sathiala, GNDU College, Jalandhar, and ASSM College, Mukandpur, shall be based on the GMET to be conducted by the university. Admission to all masters/bachelor courses will be made on the basis of entrance tests to be conducted by the coordinators/heads of the department,” informed Singh.

“Admission to B Arch course will be made by the head, Department of Architecture on the basis of combined merit of NATA score and qualifying examination in the ratio of 50:50. For LLB, BA LLB (FYC) courses, admission will be made by Punjabi University, Patiala, as per notification issued by the Punjab government,” stated an university spokesperson.
