AMRITSAR: The newly-appointed UN Environment Goodwill Ambassador for India, actor Dia Mirza, is concerned over environment issues.

The newly-appointed UN Environment Goodwill Ambassador for India, actor Dia Mirza, is concerned over environment issues. She was here in the city in connection with the promotion of Forevermark, a diamond brand with Khurana Jewellery House.

Talking about her new responsibility, the Miss Asia Pacific 200 said, “It is an honor to get to work in this direction. I am particularly serious over the climatic change, air pollution, forest fire, affect of bad environment on health and many more. Pollution is something which needs to be focused on a priority basis.”

Dia shall also be making short movies on environment issues to create awareness under her production house — Born Free Entertainment.
