Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) Gurmej Singh, in his complaint, mentioned that the accused had replaced the documents of the recorded statement of one Nishan Singh of Bhura Karimpura village while submitting a file to the Patti court .The matter was investigated by SP (Investigation) Tilak Raj. Nishan Singh has been facing trial in connection with some case. A case under Sections 218, 465 and 467 of the IPC has been registered against Bachittar. Mobile seized in Patti jail Tarn Taran: A mobile was seized from Pawanpreet Singh, an inmate of the Patti sub-jail on Thursday. The Patti police have registered a case under Section 52-A of the Prison Act. The DSP, Jail, said the accused lodged in barrack 5 of the jail was seen immersed in his mobile phone.
