TARN TARAN: The police have registered a case into a robbery incident that took place two months ago.

The police have registered a case into a robbery incident that took place two months ago. The victim, Gurjant Singh of Van Tara Singh village, lodged the complaint late. He stated that he was returning home from Bhikhiwind when two unidentified persons robbed him of Rs 10,000 and his mobile phone near Mari Kamboke village while threatening with a sharp-edged weapon. The case was registered under Section 379-B of the IPC here yesterday.

In another incident, a car (PB-02-AK-5176) parked outside a marriage palace in Fatehbad village, 22 km from here, was stolen last evening. The car owner said gold ornaments weighing around 35 gm was also there in the car. The Goindwal Sahib police have registered a case under Section 379 of the IPC. — OC
