NEET reults bring cheer to students

AMRITSAR: Declaration of the NEET result by the CBSE has made many students and their families cheerful after the students passed the entrance test to gain admission in medical colleges.

Declaration of the NEET result by the CBSE has made many students and their families cheerful after the students passed the entrance test to gain admission in medical colleges.

The CBSE NEET is a national-level exam conducted for admission to the MBBS and BDS courses in the government and private medical and dental colleges.

This year over 11 lakh students had appeared for the NEET exam. Following the declaration of the result, the all-India and state-level medical institutes will initiate counselling.

The city toppers, it’s learnt, were: Raghav Gupta (643 marks), Megha Bhatia (628 marks), Sulabh Malhotra (606 marks) and Navneet Kaur Brar (603 marks).

Spring Dale’s Navjot Singh secured the 4147 rank in NEET. Earlier he had cleared the All-India Rank (AIR) 1596 in the AIIMS. Mamta Bhatia, too, studied at the Spring Dale.

Raghav Gupta, son of a prominent surgeon, Dr Raman Gupta, and Dr (Mrs) Anupma Gupta, of Tarn Taran has secured the 384th rank in the NEET. Raghav said he could succeed in the test with the blessings of his parents .
