Posters against swine flu released

AMRITSAR: The District Health Department has released a poster which would be used to create awareness regarding swine flu in the district here today.

The District Health Department has released a poster which would be used to create awareness regarding swine flu in the district here today. Dr Narinder Kaur, Civil Surgeon, said the poster would educate residents about the causes, prevention and treatment facilities available for swine flu.

She said that the department employees were already creating awareness about the disease by education patients coming to them at health facilities. She said basic prevention rules require the residents to ensure proper hygiene and avoid closeness with infected persons.

She further said the patients in case of common flu too must take proper precautions.
