The Shri Guru Ramdas Jee International Airport authorities have cautioned the residents against fraudulent recruitments.

K Srinivasa Rao, general manager, Human Recourse, said it had been observed that some unscrupulous elements were using fraudulent recruitment advertisements and job offers in the name of the Airports Authority of India (AAI) to dupe residents. They were trying to deceive the residents by making false promises of providing jobs in the AAI, he added.

Rao said such miscreants asked for sensitive personal or financial information, including money, for jobs.

“It has come to light that certain websites are showing that there are vacancies in the AAI. There is no such website or agency that has been authorised by the AAI to show vacancies and accept any application for recruitment,” Rao said.

Officials said all vacancies and recruitments-related information would be given on the AAI’s website, Employment News or Rojgar Samachar and leading newspapers. They said the link to apply for any job in the AAI is available only on its official website and not on any other website. According to officials, only application fee is payable at the time of online registration and no other payments are required for further process.

“We have urged all job aspirants to remain vigilant and not to be misled by such false advertisements. The AAI is not responsible for any loss or damage caused by unscrupulous elements,” said Rao.
