Amritsar, February 13

With an aim to help students to beat exam stress for their upcoming board examination of class X and XII, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is going to interact with students under his initiative ‘Pariksha Par Charcha’ on February 16. The one-and-a-half hour long interaction will begin from 10.30 am to 12 noon.

The students from class VI onwards can attend the session in their school through live broadcast by Doordarshan on DD National, DD News, and DD India. The interaction will also be streamed on the websites of Prime Minister Office, Youtube channel of Ministry of Human Resource Development and through Facebook live. The schools and students have been asked to submit their questions online.

The CBSE has instructed school heads that only students from class IX onwards can ask questions. The question must be about exam related stress. The school heads have been asked to make all necessary arrangements for the students to attend the interaction.

Anjana Gupta, principal, DAV International School, said, “This is good initiative. It will help in boosting the confidence of the students. We have made adequate arrangements for the same. We have asked our students to prepare their questions. The students will learn how to manage their stress in examination season.”

Apart from this, the board has also asked the school heads to send a report after the interaction in a proper format. Sangeeta Singh, principal, Delhi Public School, said, “It is a little late considering the time of the interaction but still it will be beneficial for the students. I can feel students being stressed about the board examinations, especially of the X standard. We would be able to hear a number of students which will be helpful both for students as well as the teaching faculty on addressing their concerns .”
