Sewerage project nears completion

AMRITSAR: The MC superintending engineer inspected the sewerage project going on under the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) at Majitha Road.

Amritsar, June 17

The MC superintending engineer inspected the sewerage project going on under the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) at Majitha Road. The Punjab Water Supply and Sewerage Board has been constructing manholes on the 30 inch main line alongside the road.

Tilak Raj, SE, Operation and Maintenance, said the sewerage board had been constructing the manholes. I have inspected the work to keep a check on its quality.

The laying of the sewerage is almost complete. After it, the PWD would get the road recarprted.
