Tarn Taran: Ranjit Singh and Daljit Singh of Kairon village, 20 km from here, have been booked under Section 13-A of the Punjab Village Common Land Regulation Act, 1961. Mela Singh, block development and panchayat officer (BDPO), Patti, in a complaint to the police alleged that the accused had been encroaching upon the village common land where residents sit to discuss common issues. — OC
