Amritsar, May 13
The Mohkampura police have arrested Sarabjit Singh of Chheharta and Harjit Singh of Bhakna Kalan village and confiscated 1 kg of opium. They were intercepted during checking of vehicles. The police found the contraband hidden near the hand brake. A case under the NDPS Act was registered against them. Further investigation is under way, the police said.
